Terms And Conditions
Throughout the following
Leominster Reclamation and Architectural Salvage Ltd. is referred to as LRAC.
Retention of Title. Goods supplied by LRAC remain the property of LRAC until payment has been received in full.
Returns. Many of the goods we sell and supply are reclaimed or salvaged
and as such are individual items.
It is important that you satisfy yourself that the condition, quality and
function of the goods is suitable for the purpose and use required. If you are
not sure then you must advise LRAC of this at the time of purchase. You
will then have 7 days during which time you may return the goods for a full
refund. After that, any returns will be at LRAC's discretion and should LRAC accept the returns then a restocking charge of 20% will be deducted from the
refund which will be the invoice price of the goods excluding any carriage
costs. Refunds will be in the form of a credit note which must be used within 6
months of issue date.
Items will only be considered for return if in the same condition, quality and
quantity as first delivered.
Items will not be considered for return if they have been installed, used or
altered in any way, shape or form.
The cost of returning items is for the client's account.
In the case of new goods, full refund, excluding carriage costs, will be given
subject to the goods being returned in unused and sound condition within 7 days.
(14 days for online purchases)
No returns will be accepted after 7 days. (14 days for online purchases)
New goods which prove to be faulty in manufacture will be replaced subject to
such goods being returned in the same condition as delivered.
The costs of returning goods will be at the buyer's expense.
See section on consequential loss.
Receipt and Inspection. Goods despatched by LRAC using a carrier,
courier, post office or any other means must be inspected for damage within 3
days of receipt and any damage or shortage should be notified immediately to
LRAC's office by phone, confirmed by letter, email or fax.
LRAC will not be responsible for damage reported after that period.
Carrier's delivery notes should be marked if damage to the packaging is obvious
or if there is a short delivery in the number of packages. A copy of that note
should be sent to LRAC immediately.
VAT. Prices include VAT levied at 17.5% when appropriate
and as indicated. Some (but not all) of the reclaimed goods sold by LRAC are
sold under the Margin Scheme for second-hand goods, whereby VAT is paid by LRAC
on the difference between purchase and Sale price, in these cases VAT cannot be
reclaimed by the purchaser. Where this is the case this will be indicated
on the invoice.
Any goods supplied to EU member countries will be invoiced without VAT as long
as the buyer is registered for VAT in the country of destination with a current
VAT registered number. Otherwise VAT will be added at 17.5%.
Any goods supplied to non EU countries will be free of VAT subject to the buyer
supplying a certificate of shipment to LRAC within 90 days of export or free of
VAT if LRAC undertakes the shipment on the buyers behalf.

approximate. Dimensions used will be imperial or metric at LRAC's discretion.

the age and history of reclaimed items but can give no guarantee as to the
accuracy of this information and no reliance should be placed on this
information.
