Leominster Reclamation and Architectural Salvage Ltd. is referred to as LRAC.
Certain items such as glass or very breakable items cannot be insured for carriage and subsequently carriage is at the buyers risk and we cannot be held responsible for any breakages. Having said that, we will of course do our utmost to ensure that items are packed carefully and securely to avoid any possible damage in transit.
Prices include VAT levied at 17.5% when appropriate, unless otherwise indicated. Some (but not all) of the reclaimed goods sold by LRAC are sold under the Margin Scheme for second-hand goods, whereby VAT is paid by LRAC on the difference between purchase and sale price, in these cases VAT cannot be reclaimed by the purchaser. Where this is the case this will be indicated on the invoice.
All dimensions, areas, volumes or weights given are
approximate. Dimensions used will be imperial or metric at LRAC's discretion.
Prices quoted are in Sterling. Other currencies can be
quoted and will be invoiced at the exchange rate ruling at the time of
invoicing.
Wherever possible LRAC will provide information regarding
the age and history of reclaimed items but can give no guarantee as to the
accuracy of this information and no reliance should be placed on this
information.
LRAC accepts no responsibility for any consequential
loss or subsequent costs howsoever arising from the use of new or reclaimed
materials supplied by LRAC.
When asked LRAC may be able to refer clients to
suitable tradesmen but LRAC can not be held responsible for any arrangements
that the client subsequently makes or for the quality of work of the referred
tradesman.
All timings, schedules and delivery dates quoted or estimated are
approximate.
Items may be reserved for 4 days without any
obligation to purchase. After 4 days the goods will be put back on sale unless LRAC has
received confirmation and a deposit from the buyer.
A 50% non refundable deposit is required as a down payment on
any items being made, repaired, altered or restored to the order of a customer.
The balance of the payment in full is due on completion.
Once paid for, goods can be stored free of charge for a period
of 4 weeks. Unless there is prior agreement with LRAC, after the period of free
storage a storage charge will be made of £13 per week per pallet
(or part of a week) based on the floor area of a europallet. Minimum charge of
1 pallet.

debit cards or cash. Delivery will be charged extra and is subject to quotation.
